YEAR 7 RUGBY
Sussex Rugby 7s Tournament
Final position: Runners Up
Congratulations to our Year 7 Rugby team who finished in second place at the Sussex 7-a-side tournament at Christ’s Hospital School, losing just one game, to the eventual winners; Hurstpierpoint college (an 8 tries to 6 thriller – 1 try every minute!!). There was some excellent rugby on show and many of our players caught the eye of other coaches, but the standout performance of the day was Jack, who scored in every round and was a threat every time he got his hands on the ball. His finish for the try against Seaford College was something else!
Try scorers: Seb M (4) Jack (4) Seb S (3) Josh (2) Zaiyn (1) Arthur (1) James (1)

Well done to all the boys who have played a part in this season’s fixtures, it’s been a busy 1st year and you have all made great strides, individually and as a team. The brand of rugby you are playing will set you up well, in the future, and you should all be extremely proud of how far you have come in such a short amount of time. Winners of your plate final last week and the second-best team in Sussex at the 7s tournament today. Really well done, very proud of you all. PBY
