We welcomed over 40 visitors from Dortmund, Germany into school on 8th October for the 25th anniversary of this very strong international partnership.

We are so excited for ex Imberhorne student Sam Tutty who has been moving on to great things since leaving Imberhorne 3 years ago. We’ll be booking our tickets to go and see him as he takes on the leading role in the West End show 'Dear Evan Hansen'.

Last Wednesday was a big night for school Rugby in East Grinstead with both secondary schools going head to head in the U14 Cooney Cup and U16 Newnham Shield.

Assemblies in the week of 16th September were delivered by Dr Barr, Deputy Headteacher, who discussed kindness, giving and generosity. Dr Barr challenged students to look for opportunities to be kind.

Our Key Stage 3 students took on the Interform Cross Country challenge on our Windmill Lane field on Monday 16th September. We were thoroughly impressed with their enthusiasm and their determination. Congratulations to all who took part and a special mention to the winners on the day.

We are delighted to present our timetable of Masterclasses for students to attend and we also have various subject Challenge Fortnights announced for 2019-2020. Why not pop these optional opportunities for further study in the diary.

Imberhorne’s Sixth Form students celebrated outstanding A Level and BTEC results this summer. The school retained a 99% pass rate with 58% of entries at grade A*-B and 84% at grade A*-C.  These are impressive results and the best the school has ever achieved!
