Our twelve Tanzania Exchange students in Year 13 recently returned from what they described as their 'opportunity of a life time' trip to Tanzania. Poppy, Charlotte and Ellie describe here what the trip and exchange programme has meant to them:

Good news!  We are pleased to receive the Prince's Trust Institute Mark (PTI) for Art 2016.  Launched in 2007, this award recognises and rewards school departments that develop inspirational ideas and activities which enhance the teaching of either Art, English, Geography, History, Latin, Maths,

Our Year 7 and Year 8 students were fantastic at the annual East Grinstead Schools X Country yesterday at East Court. They ran very well with such endeavour, one of the attributes our school motto aims to instill in our students.

Students from our partner school visited Imberhorne between 23rd and 29th September. More than 40 friends from the Heinrich Boell Gesamtschule spent the week with Imberhorne host families.

We have won the British Council’s prestigious 'International School Award' in recognition of our work to bring the world into the classroom!  This award is a re-accreditation which is even more exciting.

A friendship group that stretches across both Imberhorne and Sackville Schools joined forces last weekend to raise money for Cancer Research by completing the Brighton 5k Colour Run.  Well done to Year 11 Imberhorne students Marina Billings and Jen Thompson as well as to their Sackville friends.

We are delighted with our record breaking GCSE results this year.

Imberhorne’s Sixth Form students celebrated as they received their A Level results.

During July, students from Imberhorne visited four local primary schools to run workshops teaching nearly 300 students all about Fairtrade. A total of eleven workshops were given to year 3, 4, 5 and 6 students.

Many Imberhorne students sang with primary school friends at EGGSFest on 13th July.  Jennifer Thompson and Tara Mahy in Year 10, seen in the photo, were proud to be on stage with their Felbridge School buddies. Students from across the town working together is such a wonderful experience.
